The Runnies played a Mudqueens event over the weekend, and beyond playing a fun show I found the spectacle quite rewarding when it came to documenting it. The lights, the colors, the glossy finish of the mud; it would make a good test shoot, if I thought that way, but then that that would be dirty.

Tucked in between the sweet stylings of the Other Minds and the ferocious roar of White Mystery was Charlie Slick. Armed with Beats,Synthesizers, and Glitter, Charlie Slick not only brought the dance party but loosened the hard exterior of crowd of garage/psyche rockers that didn't see it coming.

Doodles

I started to collect my doodles as a way to create a personal journal. Words have never been hard for me but emotions have always had a strong pull on me forcing my mouth shut and eyes closed. Doodling seems to be a good way of freeing my thoughts through channeling them into informal ephemeric excercise.
